Former KBC presenter Elizabeth Irungu has weighed in on the Esther Arunga case, expressing her disdain for the embattled lawyer.

Arunga, who is facing up to 25 years in jail for allegedly being an accomplice to the murder of her own son, will be sentenced on July 18, 2019 in an Australian court.

Irungu, in a lengthy post, criticized Arunga for her alleged role in the murder, saying she was either 'stupid, greedy or very naive' to cover up for her husband Quincy Timberlake.

Irungu also accused Arunga of being part of a cult-like church in Kenya, where she and her husband allegedly joined and became involved with 'weird people.'

Arunga's husband, Quincy Timberlake, was accused of punching their three-year-old son in the stomach in an attempt to 'remove bad spirits and demons' from him, resulting in the child's death.

Irungu's post sparked a heated debate, with many defending Arunga and criticizing Irungu for her harsh words.
