On May 31, 2022, Safaricom Investment Co-operative announced plans to construct a KSh 750 million housing project in Ruaka, Kiambu.
The Miran Residence, a three-acre urban development, will comprise 450 housing units, each selling for KSh 2.75 million, studio apartments at KSh 3.9 million, one-bedroom houses going for KSh 4.45 million each, and two-bedroom houses costing KSh 5.9 million each.
The project, located in a prime area close to Nairobi, will offer residents access to shopping malls, schools, and hospitals, making it an ideal investment opportunity for those looking to purchase a home.
According to Sarah Wahogo, Ruaka is a thriving area with an ample supply of apartments and a working population that requires an ideal housing and transport hub due to its proximity to Nairobi.
The Miran Residence is the fifth housing project by Safaricom Investment Co-operative Society, following successful developments in Ruaka, Syokimau, Kantafu, and Rongai.
