Kenya Sevens team, Shujaa, has been struggling at the World Rugby Seven Series, and their performance at the London Sevens in England over the weekend was no exception.
Shujaa finished last at the tournament, failing to win any of their six matches played at Twickenham Stadium.
The team's poor performance has been a recurring theme since the beginning of the year, with Shujaa failing to progress beyond the group stage in several tournaments, including Malaga, Seville, Singapore, Vancouver, and Toulouse.
Despite the change of guard at Shujaa, with newly appointed coach Damian McGrath, the team's performance has not improved, and they have now dropped to 13th place in the standings with 38 points.
Shujaa will need to work harder in the season-ending leg in Los Angeles, USA in August, where they will face off against England, Scotland, and Samoa in Group D.
Before their departure to Los Angeles, the team will return home to prepare for the Commonwealth Games scheduled for July 29 to August 8 in Birmingham, England.
Elsewhere, Kenya Simbas lost their fifth Currie Cup match against SWD Eagles 24-7 at City Park Stadium, Athlone in South Africa.
