IEBC has been urged to work on its efficiency after a section of politicians in Nairobi accused the commission of double standards in the ongoing clearance of aspirants.
David Otieno, an independent candidate, and Nelson Havi of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, both seeking the Westlands parliamentary seat, claimed the commission blocked them from being accompanied by supporters while another candidate was allowed to access the venue with his supporters.
The incident has sparked concerns about the IEBC's handling of the clearance process, with some politicians questioning the commission's impartiality.
