Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika is gearing up to return to work after a seven-month break to care for her daughter Asia.
On her social media, Vera announced that she had resolved to be around her child 24/7 after Asia's birth in October 2021, citing the importance of bonding for her growth.
"Been on a wonderful 6-7 months leave that is about to end in a week. When I had Asia, I needed to dedicate my entire time to bonding with her in as much as she has two nannies. It was very important for me to be there 24/7," she wrote.
According to Vera, Asia has grown significantly and will soon be completely weaned, allowing her to get back to her work life.
"Well, she is a big girl now. Started weaning and can finally have time for me to do me, to live life, enjoy life, and get back to work," she added.
Asia was born on October 20, 2021, via a Caesarian section, and Vera has been open about her positive experience with the procedure.
"20.10.2021 at 10:21am…A princess was born Asia Brown…You will always be the miracle that makes our life complete," said Vera.
Since her child's delivery, Vera has been under scrutiny for the luxury she provides Asia, including a Sh300,000 crib and a Chanel bag worth Sh600,000.
