The Cairo Angels Syndicate Fund (CASF) has invested in Finclusion Group, a fintech startup based in Africa.

Finclusion Group is a pioneering fintech platform that offers a full neo-bank experience to its users. The company serves clients in South Africa, Eswatini, Namibia, Kenya, and Tanzania, providing earned-wage access, buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) services, and direct credit.

According to Timothy Nuy, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Finclusion Group, the company is pleased to have CASF join its shareholder base. "With CASF, the Group continues building out its shareholder base with aligned investors – and has secured a strong partner for potential future geographic expansion," Nuy stated.

Finclusion Group aims to drive financial wellness and inclusion in Africa by leveraging its risk, credit, and technology expertise. The company is dedicated to developing products that improve the quality of life of its clients by making financial tools readily available across the African continent.

Aly El Shalakany, CEO of the Cairo Angels Syndicate Fund, said, "Our mission is to invest and support incredible founders building digital platforms to solve essential problems. That is exactly why we decided to invest in Finclusion Group, which is delivering compelling solutions to underserved consumers who have historically had little or no access to credit."
