Raila Denies Rigging Claims Ahead of Kenya's Presidential Election

On May 30, 2022, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team expressed concerns about the integrity of Kenya's presidential election. They sought assurances from the electoral commission and the government regarding results transmission and phone network coverage in the 52,000 polling stations.

According to reports, the team was responding to opinion polls that placed Azimio la Umoja flagbearer Raila Odinga ahead of Dr. Ruto. Raila's team rubbished these polls, suggesting that they were biased.
