Nairobi, May 30, 2022 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has expressed his condolences to the family and constituents of Rabai MP William Kamoti Mwamkale, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on Sunday night.

According to the President, Kamoti was a highly respected legal mind and devoted leader with a strong development record, particularly in the area of education.

"It is very unfortunate and painful that we've suddenly lost Mheshimiwa William Kamoti, a progressive and astute leader that represented the people of Rabai Constituency in Parliament with great distinction," the President eulogised.

President Kenyatta also acknowledged Kamoti's legacy of development and public service, including his efforts to establish several schools in his constituency.

The President wished Kamoti's family, friends, relatives, and constituents God's grace and comfort as they come to terms with their leader's demise.
