President Uhuru Kenyatta has expressed his condolences to the family and constituents of Rabai MP William Kamoti Mwamkale, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on May 29, 2022.

According to the President, Kamoti was a highly respected legal mind and devoted leader with a strong development record, particularly in the area of education.

"It is very unfortunate and painful that we've suddenly lost Mheshimiwa William Kamoti, a progressive and astute leader who represented the people of Rabai Constituency in Parliament with great distinction," the President eulogised.

President Kenyatta also highlighted Kamoti's legacy of development and public service, including his efforts to establish several schools in his constituency.

As the Head of State, Kenyatta wished Kamoti's family, friends, relatives, and constituents God's grace and comfort during this difficult period.

"To the family of Mheshimiwa Kamoti, his friends, relatives, and the people of Rabai Constituency, may God the Almighty comfort you all at this difficult period of mourning your kin and leader," the President condoled.
