According to the Central Bank of Kenya, a staggering 97.35% of the country's 66.3 million bank accounts held less than Sh100,000 as of last year, underscoring Kenya's poor savings culture.

These figures offer a glimpse into Kenya's widening income gap, where wealth is concentrated in the hands of a small segment of the population.
