Stephen Opondo, a multi-talented individual, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as Atito in the popular TV show 'Classmates'. Beyond acting, he is a businessman, visual effects artist, and aspiring politician.
With a background in 3D animation and visual effects, Opondo has been working on incorporating these skills into his work, aiming to be one of the pioneers in this field in Kenya.
When asked about his decision to juggle between acting and other trades, Opondo revealed that he started acting in secondary school and later took part in acting gigs in church before getting a bigger platform to showcase his talent.
He also shared that he discovered his passion for comedy by accident, remembering a time when he was working with a crew at Pasua and they did street pranks on residents, which made him laugh all by himself.
Despite being featured by other comedians on their online platforms, Opondo has not yet ventured into creating his own content, but he is working on something unique that will be out of the box.
As an aspiring politician, Opondo is vying for an MCA seat in Umoja II ward in the forthcoming election.
He also revealed that he is an author, having written a book called 'Within', which is a gripping tale set in the African missionary era, published in 2013 and available on Amazon.
