On May 30, 2022, Deputy President William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza campaigns in Kirinyaga County, where he addressed the public and outlined his party's plans for the region.
According to Ruto, the 1.5 million vulnerable people in Kenya will receive their monthly stipends at the end of every month, just like any other government employee, if he is elected President.
He emphasized that the elderly and vulnerable are exposed to hardships due to the current delayed disbursements.
