On a dramatic day at Kasarani Stadium, Gor Mahia overcame a two-goal deficit to edge Nairobi City Stars 3-2 in a five-goal FKF Premier League thriller on February 13th, 2022.

Anthony Kimani gave City Stars the lead after 33 minutes, but Gor Mahia's Sammy Onyango equalized three minutes before halftime.

However, City Stars restored their lead in the second half, with Timothy Ouma scoring in the 46th minute. But Gor Mahia's Andreas Spier made crucial substitutions, which paid off as John Macharia set up Benson Omala to level the scores in the 64th minute.

With 20 minutes left to full time, Gor Mahia's goalkeeper Gad Mathews was shown a straight red card for handling the ball outside his area, but the team held on to win the match 3-2 with ten men.

FC Talanta thumped Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 at Ruaraka Grounds, while Bidco United beat troubled Wazito by the same margin at Nyayo National Stadium. Nzoia Sugar also shocked KCB 1-0 at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
