On a day of rugby revenge, Strathmore Leos triumphed over National Circuit defending champions KCB at the season-opening Kabeberi tournament, clinching the 55th Christie Sevens title at the RFUEA Ground on May 29, 2022.
The Leos dominated the first half, scoring three unconverted tries, while KCB managed only one consolation try. This impressive performance marked Strathmore Leos' maiden title win and continued their strong start to the season.
Philemon Olang, Barnabas Owuor, and Mathew Mogaya were among the Leos' try-scorers, while KCB's consolation tries were scored by Geoffrey Okwatch and Levy Amunga.
