On Sunday, Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio will preside over the International Day of UN Peacekeepers at the International Peace Support Centre in Embakasi, Nairobi County, marking the annual celebration of peacekeepers' invaluable contributions to global peace.
President Bio arrived in Kenya on Saturday night, ahead of his five-day state visit, and was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amb. Raychelle Omamo.
During his visit, seven Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) aimed at enhancing bilateral relations will be signed.
As part of his itinerary, President Bio will also be the Chief Guest at the Madaraka Day celebrations and attend the International Day of UN Peacekeepers event at the International Peace Support Centre.
