As Kenyans prepare to head to the polls on August 9th, Dr. Isaac Karua Green, the leader of the Green Thinking Action Party (GTAP), has urged citizens to elect leaders with high levels of integrity and vision.
Speaking at Shitam Farm in Makuyu, Murang'a, Dr. Karua Green emphasized the need for visionary leaders who can include citizens in decision-making processes. He noted that it is high time for Kenyans to vote for leaders who will prioritize their needs and address the problems facing them.
Dr. Karua Green also expressed concern over the mistrust among leaders, stating that political parties are often the same, with the only difference being their ideologies. He accused some parties of cheating Kenyans and promised that his party will transform the country by creating an economic pillar.
During his visit to Shitam Farm, Dr. Karua Green distributed hass avocado seedlings to hundreds of farmers for free. The farm, located in Pundamilia, Makuyu, is a leading producer of fruit and cash crop seedlings, as well as indigenous trees.
