The Netflix docuseries Our Great National Parks takes viewers on a journey to national parks around the world, from the breathtaking landscapes of Chilean Patagonia to the majestic wildlife of Kenya's Tsavo East National Park.

The series features locations selected by former US President Barack Obama, who shares his personal connection to the parks through his narration.

Obama recalls his first visit to Kenya, where he felt a sense of awe and wonder at the vast expanse of the African bush. 'The African bush...swept on forever with wide-open skies and wildlife that never seemed to end,' he says.

Joanne Scofield, the producer-cum-director of the third episode, notes that 'super tuskers are super elusive,' referring to the rare and endangered elephants found in Tsavo.

The documentary crew spent months filming in the park, working closely with local guides and experts to capture the unique perspectives of the national parks.

Executive producer James Honeyborne remarks, 'We were relying on people in-country and they were giving us such a unique and rare perspective of their national parks because, of course, to them, they're their backyards.'

The documentary is currently streaming on Netflix, offering viewers a glimpse into the natural wonders of our world.
