Kenya's Gamerz FC Represents Nation in Red Bull Neymar Junior's Five World Finals ¶
On July 12-13, 2019, Nairobi's Gamerz FC represented Kenya in the Red Bull Neymar Junior's Five world finals at the foundation's headquarters in Sao Paulo, Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr.
Although Team Kenya failed to advance to the round of 16, they proudly waved the Kenyan flag and experienced the magic of Brazilian football.
The team had secured their spot in the tournament by defeating Hamburg FC from Mombasa in May in Nairobi.
Red Bull Neymar Junior's Five is an annual tournament that aims to inspire and give wings to young footballers across the globe.
Other winners of the tournament included Zsirkretak from Hungary (mixed) and Spartak Myjava Zeny from Slovakia (women's).
