Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced a scheduled power maintenance on May 25, 2022, which will affect several areas in different parts of the country.
According to a statement released by KPLC on their official social media page, the affected counties include Nairobi, Kajiado, and Homa Bay.
In Nairobi, the affected areas include Marurui, Mugumoini, Nyati Drive, Plateau, and several other neighborhoods. Specifically, the affected areas in Nairobi include:
- Marurui, Mugumoini, Nyati Drive, Plateau, Marurui Patrol Base, Victory Church, Murandi Hosp & adjacent customers
- Parts of Dandora, including Dandora Sec, Dandora Phase 1, Ngomongo, Part of Korogocho, Part of Kamunde Rd & adjacent customers
- Parts of Umoja and outering road
- Other areas, including Buruburu Phase IV, Umoja Mkt, Umoja PCEA Church, Egesa Club, Umoja H, J, K, L, M, N, P & Q, Mutindwa, Umoja Co-op Bank, Parts of Umoja Inner Core, Kirwa Stage, Rockfields, Umoja SDA Church & adjacent customers
In Kajiado county, the affected areas include Kiserian, Nkoroi, Birika Rongai, Tuala Kandisi, and Oletepesi.
In Homa Bay county, the affected areas include Rody Kopany, Opapo, Wiobiro, Marram, Sukari Industries, and Weighing Bridge & adjacent customers.
