Body positivity has become a rallying cry for many women, who are tired of being shamed and criticized for their appearance. But what happens when the body shamers come for you?

For media personality Lynda Nyangweso, the experience was all too real. In a recent video shared on her Instagram, she opened up about being body shamed and the devastating impact it had on her mental health.

“Somebody called me whale,” she said, her voice shaking with emotion. “The meanest comment I ever got was that I didn’t deserve to have a child because of how I looked.”

Lynda's story is a powerful reminder of the harm that body shaming can cause. But it's also a testament to the resilience of women who refuse to be silenced or shamed.

As Lynda herself says, “My sadness is for other girls who have to go through this.” But she's not just speaking out for herself – she's also speaking out for all the women who have been body shamed and silenced.

So what can we do to support women like Lynda? For starters, we can stop following people who make us feel bad about ourselves. We can protect our peace and focus on building each other up, rather than tearing each other down.

And as for Lynda, she's not letting the body shamers get her down. She's speaking out, she's sharing her story, and she's inspiring others to do the same.

Below are some celebrities who have taken body positivity to a whole other level.
