On May 24, 2022, Mwangi Kiunjuri, the leader of The Service Party (TSP), clarified his party's stance on the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, stating that they are firmly committed to the alliance.
Speaking after meeting with aspirants, Kiunjuri emphasized that TSP has been actively participating in all Kenya Kwanza activities, including the National Delegates Conference and the consultative meeting that led to the selection of Rigathi Gachagwa as the running mate.
“TSP is firmly in Kenya Kwanza Alliance. It is a choice that we made collectively to deliver victory,” Kiunjuri said.
The TSP leader also announced plans to roll out a 30-day campaign program across the country to support Ruto's candidature, stating that this is part of measures to supplement the ongoing regional presidential campaigns and popularize their candidates.
As part of their efforts, Kiunjuri stated that the party will devote their time, resources, and energy to support Ruto's campaign.
