Published on July 17, 2019, Zari Hassan has publicly rejected Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's advances, stating that she never had a crush on him.
Her response comes after a recent interview where she allegedly confessed her undying love for Sonko.
Speaking to South Africa-based Jacaranda FM, Zari revealed that she had been crushing on Sonko for a long time and admired him.
"I WANT TO REVEAL MY LOVE FOR THE HANDSOME NAIROBI GOVERNOR MIKE SONKO. HE IS THE MAN I HAVE SECRETLY ADMIRED FOR A LONG TIME."
However, in a candid social media post, Zari stated that Sonko is not her type and that she cannot be attracted to him in the first place.
"This nonsense from this man should stop. No I have no crush on you. I have never met or anything plus. Please let me be. Plus you are not my type of Governor, Thank you."
Her response is a clear rejection of Sonko's advances, and it appears that Zari is not interested in pursuing a relationship with the Nairobi Governor.
