On July 17, 2019, a gruesome incident shook Nanyuki, Laikipia County, when a 29-year-old man allegedly killed his 59-year-old father and paraded his severed head in a bucket.
Dennis Mwangi, the suspect, is accused of brutally killing his father, Peter Ndegwa, in a domestic dispute.
Confirming the incident, Laikipia East OCPD Kizito Mtoro stated that the motive behind the killing could not be immediately established, but investigations were underway.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Nanyuki County Referral Hospital.
