Glovo, a leading global delivery firm, has announced a significant expansion in Kenya through strategic partnerships with local and international brands. This move is aimed at increasing its market footprint within the country.

As of July 17, 2019, Glovo has partnered with Java House Africa, Zucchini Greengrocers, On the way supermarkets, and Naivas supermarkets. These partnerships will enable Glovo to tap into new business fields and provide its services to a wider clientele.

According to William Benthall, Glovo's General Manager for Kenya, the partnerships will greatly benefit consumers of Glovo's service. 'Glovo is committed to providing our customers with any product from Nairobi within minutes. Today Glovo is launching partnerships with Naivas, Java House, and Onn The Way, adding these Nairobi institutions to the list of Nairobi's best-loved stores and restaurants that are already on the platform,' said Mr. Benthall.

The partnership with Java House Africa will enable customers to order from the nearest Java outlet and enjoy delivery in less than 45 minutes. Glovo's partnership with Naivas and On The Way will expand the reach of the supermarkets to online customers, providing the convenience of ordering from the comfort of their homes and workplaces, with delivery in minutes.

Since its entry into the Kenyan market in January this year, Glovo has partnered with top brands and franchises like Simbisa Brands. The App's unique value proposition allows consumers to order virtually anything that can fit on the back of a bike for delivery.
