On Friday, the Karen Country Club will host the highly anticipated finale of the Johnnie Walker Golf Series, a culmination of 20 events played across 18 golf clubs, attracting a total of 3,000 golfers.
The series, which kicked off last year, has seen top amateur players from across the country compete in a bid to win a fully-paid trip to the iconic Glen-eagles Golf Course in Scotland.
Speaking ahead of the event, Josephine Katambo, EABL's Marketing Manager for Spirits, expressed her delight at the series' success, saying, 'We are delighted to be holding our Grand Finale this Friday as a culmination of what has been a very successful golf series. With top amateur players from across the country set to battle it out and the stakes being high, we can expect nothing but the very best of what the series has had to offer.'
Twenty-five teams of four golfers have qualified for the finals, where the ultimate winner will be crowned and awarded a fully-paid trip to Glen-eagles.
Like in the qualifying rounds, the golfers will compete in the tournament's four-ball stableford format during the Grand Finale.
