On July 17, 2019, Samuel Wambui, a BetLion customer, made history by winning Sh2 million with a mere Sh100 stake.
Wambui's incredible win came after he correctly predicted the outcomes of eight teams on his betslip, beating odds of 20 million to one.
"I was speechless when I realized how much was at stake with the existing odds on my bet slip, at one time I thought of cashing out during the 8th game, but I challenged myself to see the game out. Honestly, it was one of the best decisions I ever made," Wambui said.
