Published on July 17, 2019, Vera Sidika, a 29-year-old Kenyan socialite, has expressed her reluctance to be viewed as a role model by young women.

Speaking in a recent interview with Citizen TV, Sidika emphasized the need for individuals to focus on becoming better versions of themselves rather than emulating others.

She noted that people should prioritize their personal growth and development, rather than trying to replicate the success of others.

“I don’t like to be people’s role models because I believe one should be responsible for their kids and their upbringing. People should focus on being a better version of themselves and not someone else,” she said.

As a socialite and musician, Sidika has spent millions of shillings abroad on skin bleaching and maintenance, a fact she has publicly acknowledged.

She also revealed that she earns money from making appearances in clubs in Kenya and abroad, as well as through her various business ventures, including a hair lounge and poultry farming.
