Guinea's football federation, Feguifoot, has parted ways with coach Paul Put following the team's disappointing exit from the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Put, a 63-year-old Belgian, was appointed in March 2018 and led the team to a 3-0 loss against finalists Algeria in the first knockout round.
According to Antonio Souare, the head of Guinea's football federation, the team's performance under Put was 'not satisfactory', with a record of three wins, four draws, and five defeats in 12 matches.
Put had previously coached Burkina Faso, leading them to the Cup of Nations final in 2013, and had also briefly handled Kenya's Harambee Stars before joining Guinea.
