On July 16, 2019, Glovo announced a new wave of strategic partnerships with local and international brands in Kenya, marking a significant expansion of its market footprint in the country.
The partnerships, signed with Java House Africa, Zucchini Greengrocers, Onn the Way Supermarkets, and Naivas supermarkets, will enable Glovo to tap into strategic business fields and provide its service to new clientele.
According to William Benthall, Glovo's General Manager for Kenya, the partnerships will greatly benefit consumers of Glovo's service, enabling them to interact with their favourite brands at the tap of a button.
“Glovo is committed to providing our customers with any product from Nairobi within minutes. Today, Glovo is launching partnerships with Naivas, Java House, and Onn The Way, adding these Nairobi institutions to the list of Nairobi’s best loved stores and restaurants that are already on the platform,” said Mr. Benthall.
He added, “In the long run, these partnerships will help us achieve our broader strategy of being a single platform for all our customer’s needs and deliveries.”
