On July 16, 2019, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Kenya joined forces with a syndicate of local, regional, and global banks to secure a financing agreement worth up to Ksh 13 billion (US$ 125 million) with Export Trading Group (ETG).

ETG, an African conglomerate with a diverse agricultural supply chain, operates in 40 countries worldwide. The loan is expected to boost the country's agricultural sector.
