West Ham United's Pablo Zabaleta has confirmed that this will be his last season in the Premier League.

The 34-year-old Argentine defender signed a new one-year deal with the Hammers and revealed that he could be retiring after the season.

"I don't know, honestly," Zabaleta said when asked if he would retire for good after the coming season.

"The reason I'm here is because I'm still enjoying my football. I think I can still give 100 percent for the team and use my experience," he added.

Despite being 34 and nearing the end of his career, Zabaleta remains a good professional and is still enjoying being around the team and helping young players.

"Definitely will be my last season in England, for sure, this is something that I know," he said.

West Ham will face Zabaleta's former side, Manchester City, in the Premier League Asia Trophy in Nanjing on Wednesday.
