Victor Lindelof: Man United Insists He's Happy at Old Trafford

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has come out to declare his intent to stay at Old Trafford, despite being linked with a summer move to Barcelona.

His agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, recently hinted that Lindelof could depart United for a top European club, but the Sweden international has dismissed the transfer talk.

On July 18, 2019, Lindelof pointed out that he is happy at Manchester United, declaring his resolve to help the side to a better campaign next season.

He joined United in the summer of 2017 under former boss Jose Mourinho from Portuguese side, Benfica.

He played a pivotal part in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's set up last season, with the Norwegian often pairing him as a centre-back.

"I'm very happy to be a Manchester player and I'm really looking forward to this season to start. I'm very happy here," Lindelof said.

"I'm just trying to do my best every day and that's what I work hard for every day to help the team and the club," he added.
