On July 16, 2019, singer Vivian took to social media to address rumors about her relationship with Starehe MP Charles Njagua, also known as Jaguar.
According to Vivian, the two were never in a romantic relationship, despite rumors suggesting they dated five years ago.
She shared a photo of the two taken on set for one of her singles, 'Woman in Love,' and explained that Jaguar was only her mentor, who had come to show his support on set.
'There were many rumors of us dating but nope, that's never happened,' Vivian said in her post.
Despite the rumors, Vivian praised Jaguar, calling him one of the most interesting people she knows.
'He is one of the most interesting people I have ever known, very hands on as a mentor,' Vivian said.
She added that Jaguar had been a huge influence on her career, and she felt grateful to have him as a mentor.
'I feel strongly I have tapped into some of his anointing which is pretty cool,' Vivian said.
She expressed her desire for Jaguar to join her on her US tour, saying that he would be a great addition to her performances.
