As I stand on the sixth floor, I'm reminded of the journey that brought me here. It's a path marked by trials and tribulations, but also by the people and experiences that made it all bearable.

From this vantage point, I can see the world in a new light. The noise and confusion of daily life fade into the background, and I'm left with a sense of clarity and purpose.

Reaching the sixth floor is not just about personal achievement; it's about the lessons we've learned and the wisdom we've gained. It's about sharing that wisdom with others and helping them navigate their own paths.

But as I look out at the world, I'm also reminded of the challenges that lie ahead. The current state of leadership in Kenya is a far cry from what we need. Corruption, greed, and incompetence have become the norm, and it's up to us to create a better future.

So, what can we do? We can start by teaching our children, grandchildren, and others to be good, honest, and upright citizens. We can nurture and mentor a new crop of leaders who are not indoctrinated into theft, greed, and tribalism.

It won't be easy, but it's worth trying. Just a few good men and women can make a difference and lead to the critical mass that lifts us out of the morass.

As I celebrate my 60th birthday, I'm reminded of the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on the world. From the sixth floor, I see a bright and sunny future, not dark and depressing clouds.
