On July 15, 2019, Madagascar's President Andry Nirina Rajoelina honored the country's national football team players for their remarkable performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The President awarded the 23-member squad the rank of 'Knight of the Malagasy National Order' at the Lavoloha State in Madagascar.
