Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results, with Jeriel Ndeda Obura of Mang'u High School emerging as the overall best performer.
Obura scored an impressive A grade of 87.167, followed closely by Timothy Mukuha Kamau of Alliance High School with 87.139, and Job Ngara Kamau of Mang'u with 87.116.
The top 10 students countrywide are:

- David Chege Kamau (St Joseph's Boys High School - Kitale) - 87.104

- Cicily Muendo Mutheu (Kenya High School) - 87.086
- Ian Mwai Toyota (Kakamega School) - 87.084
- Shekinah Peta (Kenya High School) - 87.079
- Daniel Ouma Mshindi (Light Academy) - 87.076
- Brenda Cherotich (Kipsigis Girls' High School) - 87.066
Meanwhile, students sitting national exams for Grade 6, Class 8, and Form 4 in November and December will need to register between April 27 and May 14, according to KNEC CEO David Njeng'ere.
A total of 831,015 candidates sat the 2021 KCSE exam, with the exams being conducted in 10,413 centres.
