Shouting 'Bado Mapambano' Lands Nairobi Man in Court

On July 11, a heated exchange erupted in Nairobi's Lower Hill area when a man began singing 'bado mapambano' (struggle continues) loudly.

According to reports, the man, identified as Kepha Ojuka, was arrested on Thursday and appeared in a Nairobi court on Monday, where he was charged with causing disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of peace.

Ojuka denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot and was released on a Ksh.5,000 personal bond.

The case has been set for hearing on August 13.
