On July 15, 2019, former Nairobi D actress Bridget Achieng, now known as Mama Sekani, celebrated her 30th birthday in style with an invite-only event.
According to Bridget, she wanted to honour her late parents by celebrating her birthday in pomp and colour.
"About last night, a dance with my king, my reason to always step up. Celebrated my 30th birthday in style," Bridget posted on social media.
She added that the birthday was also a thanksgiving party for all God had granted her.
"To me this birthday was more of a thanksgiving party, wanted a baby before hitting 30 whether as a married or single mum, and God gave me my heart desires, at 30 I run multiple businesses," Bridget said.
She expressed her gratitude to her friends and family for their love and support, saying, "I take this opportunity to give vote of thanks to my friends and family for unending support. God bless you all for birthday wishes it's two hours to be 30 officially, as you celebrate me may you always be celebrated IJN.???.
