With Daniel Craig's retirement from the role at the end of Spectre, the agency will pass on his codename to another agent, Lashana. Reports are yet to state what her actual name in the movie will be, but as for now, netizens are referring to her as Lashana 007.
Lynch is not new to the Hollywood scene, having played fighter pilot Maria Rambeau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Captain Marvel in 2019, replacing DeWanda Wise. She was also cast as the leading character Rosaline Capulet in the American period drama series Still Star-Crossed produced by Shonda Rhimes in 2016.
