Kenya has launched a five-day polio vaccination campaign targeting 2.6 million children in 11 high-risk counties. The campaign, which began on July 13, 2019, aims to immunize children under the age of five against the deadly polio virus.

The countrywide campaign will be conducted in 11 counties, including Nairobi, Lamu, Tana River, Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, Kilifi, Turkana, Mombasa, and Isiolo.
