On Sunday, July 14, 2019, Algeria secured their spot in the African Cup of Nations final after a thrilling match against Nigeria at the Cairo International Stadium.
The match began with Algeria impressively dominating the first half, but Nigerian goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi made a crucial save in the 8th minute to prevent Algeria from scoring.

Algeria will now face Senegal in the final of the African Cup of Nations 2019.
