Kenyan entertainment news has been filled with the drama surrounding Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz and his Ugandan ex-lover Zari Hassan. The two have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their two children, Tiffah and Nillan Dangote.
Published on July 14, 2019, Diamond Platnumz finally broke his silence and revealed that he had reunited with his children after months of separation.
According to Diamond, he had an in-depth conversation with his children, and the saddest part was that Tiffah had watery eyes throughout the little chat. Nillan, however, was all smiles and could not contain his excitement as he finally had the chance to see his long-lost dad.
For a while, Diamond claimed that Zari had blocked him from seeing or talking to their kids. He even added that each time he would ask Zari to send the kids to Tanzania, she declined.
On her defense, Zari claimed that Diamond is a deadbeat dad who never provides for their children and chooses when he feels like being a proper parent. She was simply not willing to ship off her children to a man who was not committed to being a responsible parent.
