Manchester United Raises Paul Pogba's Price to £180m Amid Transfer Rumors ¶
Manchester United has reportedly increased Paul Pogba's transfer price to £180m, a move that comes as the France international's agent Mino Raiola insists that his client wants to leave the club.
According to reports, Manchester United's decision to raise Pogba's price is an attempt to deter potential suitors, with Raiola stating that Pogba will leave the club this summer, with a likely return to Juventus or Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, Manchester United are under no pressure to sell their £89 million record star midfielder, with Pogba having two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.
Interestingly, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has mentioned that Pogba would be under consideration for the captaincy role next season, while on tour in Australia.
As it stands, there have been no bids for Pogba, with Los Blancos initially unprepared to go above £90 million.
Pogba is currently with Manchester United's squad for pre-season tour ahead of next season's Premier League.
