On Friday night, a tragic accident occurred at Arombe on the Migori-Masara road, claiming the lives of three people.
A vehicle with registration number KAS 255E collided with a motorbike being driven on the wrong side of the road by Ezekiel Odhiambo, 34, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
According to Migori County police boss Joseph Nthenge, preliminary investigations revealed that Odhiambo rammed into the car headed towards Muhurubay from Migori town at 11pm.
The two pillion passengers, Joshua Otieno and Francis Ouma, were also allegedly drunk at the time of the incident.
The vehicle has been detained at Masara Police Post, and the three bodies were moved to Migori Level 4 Hospital.
