On July 13, 2019, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru is set to marry her fiancé, lawyer Waiganjo Kimotho, in a grand ceremony at Kiamugumo Primary school, Kirinyaga County.

Unlike traditional village weddings, Waiguru's luxury wedding promises to be a high-end affair, with a guest list that includes prominent members of Kenyan society.

According to reports, the wedding will feature live performances by various artistes, a departure from the usual pre-recorded CDs played at village weddings.

Guests can expect to see a range of luxury vehicles, including Mercedes, Prado, Jeep, and Porsche, parked in the wedding venue's parking lot.

As for gifts, it's unlikely that Waiguru and her husband-to-be will receive pegs or other traditional gifts, with cheques likely to be the order of the day.

With its focus on luxury and high-end entertainment, Waiguru's wedding is set to be a unique and memorable experience.
