July 13, 2019 - In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Akinyi Chinedu, the ex-wife of Deported Nigerian drug baron Anthony Chinedu, has been arrested with 2 kilograms of heroin in Kenya.
Chinedu's arrest comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta declared war on drug traffickers hiding in Kenya in 2013, leading to her deportation on June 3 of that year.
According to reports, Chinedu was found with the heroin packed in her handbag when she was arrested.
Heroin is a highly addictive and dangerous substance that can have severe side effects, including sexual dysfunction, lung complications, insomnia, mental disorders, and liver and kidney disease.
