July 13, 2019, will be a day a Nairobi man will never forget. It was the day he wrote to a relationship expert, confessing his deep-seated regret over a love that went sour.

According to his letter, the man had been living with his first wife for six years without a child, but his desire for a family led him to cheat on her with a younger woman, resulting in a child. The betrayal was too much for his wife to bear, and she kicked him out of their home.

However, the man's troubles didn't end there. He returned to his former home one day to find his wife in bed with another man, which only fueled his anger. In a misguided attempt to move on, he married the younger woman, despite still harboring feelings for his first wife.

Now, the man finds himself torn between two women, with his heart belonging to his first wife, but his child and current wife in his life. He wrote to Philip Kitoto, a relationship expert, seeking guidance on how to resolve this complicated love life.

"I am in a big dilemma," he confessed. "I still want my first wife so badly, and feel that she is the one I should spend the rest of my life with, but I have the other one in my house with my child. This woman knows I don’t love her like I love my former wife, but she has vowed not to let go of me. My heart is with my first wife, who I still talk to and meet. I am trying to let her go, but I find myself chasing her. Kindly help me figure out how to resolve this destabilising matter," he pleaded.
