On July 11, 2019, police in Mombasa launched an operation that led to the arrest of 11 Kenyan girls and three adults suspected of producing a pornographic film.
The suspects were found engaging in indecent activities in an apartment located in Nyali, an upscale estate in Mombasa.
According to Mombasa Police Commander Johnston Ipara, sex toys and computers were recovered from the house during the operation.
"We also seized 15 laptops and 10 computers which we believe were being used in their indecent activities," Ipara said.
