July 12, 2019, marked the release of Tanzanian star Harmonize's motivational jam 'Never Give Up', which has now been remixed with Tanzanian vocalist Milly Nanace.

While the original song aimed to motivate people to stay committed to their goals, the remix falls short in achieving this goal.

Harmonize's decision to remix the song with a biographical angle, telling his musical journey, was a key factor in the original's success. However, the addition of Milly Nanace's vocals and the new rendition of the song have created a disjointed feel.

Despite Milly Nanace's impressive voice, the chemistry between her and Harmonize is lacking, making the remix feel like a spoiler of the original.

While Harmonize deserves credit for supporting his fellow artist, the remix could have benefited from an original song rather than a reworked version of the original.

The video for the remix features a classic black and white concept, but it fails to elevate the song to the same level as the original.

Overall, I would give the remix a 7/10. What do you think?
