On July 12, 2019, model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to address body shamers who had been circulating a paparazzi photo of her and her husband John Legend on vacation.
The photo, which showed the couple in a hot tub with their son Miles, was turned into a meme by a Twitter user who captioned it, "When it suddenly hits you that your lady doesn't have any ASS."
Teigen responded with a tweet of her own, saying, "It's been 13 years and he knew the first night we met:)"
However, the body shamers didn't take the hint and continued to post the original photo with captions like, "I’m fin crying bruh."
Teigen fired back with another tweet, saying, "his face, looking at my ass, so nah. I see the comments you know. still enjoy you."
"Everyone so used to ass shots and photoshopped Instagrams," she added. "I’ve had no ass forever. Is this new news to some of you?"
Teigen's quick wit and sharp tongue have made her a favorite among Twitter users, who appreciate her willingness to speak her mind and stand up for herself.
